This policy covers the St. Mina Calgary iPhone app and the thewonderworker.ca pages (tickets, donations, sponsorships and The Wonder Worker Book Store) run by the Wonder Worker Art Team of St. Mina Coptic Orthodox Church, Calgary.
The app
The app stores nothing about you on your phone and has no analytics, advertising or tracking. It reads public information from the church's server (announcements, event details, seats left). Tickets, donations and sponsorships open the church's own web pages inside the app. When you order from the book store in the app, your order details (below) go to the church's store server so the order can be prepared. Card details are typed on Square's secure page and never pass through the app or the church's server.
Tickets, donations and sponsorships
When you buy tickets or give, we ask for your name, e-mail address, and optionally your phone number and postal address (for a tax receipt). We use these only to send your tickets, to issue your tax receipt, and to contact you about your order. If you pay by e-Transfer and upload a screenshot, it is checked and then deleted; anything personal that is not needed (account or card numbers, balances) is never kept.
The Wonder Worker Book Store
When you order from the book store, on the website or in the app, we ask for your name, e-mail address, phone number and preferred pick-up time, and you may add a note. We use these only to prepare your order, to e-mail your receipt, to tell you when it is ready to pick up, and to handle an exchange or refund. Card details are typed on Square's secure page; the church never sees your card number.
Who sees it
Only authorized church personnel handling tickets, tax receipts and book store orders. We never sell or share your details, and we never send marketing you did not ask for.
How long we keep it
Order details are kept until tax receipts for the year are issued and the church's record-keeping duties are met, then deleted. Book store orders are kept for the church's sales records and for exchanges and refunds, then deleted.
Payments
Card payments are processed by Square (see Square's privacy policy); Interac e-Transfers by your bank. We receive only the confirmation that a payment was made.
